Real is only 2 points off 3rd place in la liga, and yes Real hasnt been playing that well lately, but i think things will really pick up.
Did anybody see Real v Bayer Lervekusen? Real was sooooo bad...so i wouldnt bet on em but disregard em at ur peril i suppose

I think its a bad choice, like someone said earlier he seems distant on field, and hes not the smartest player Ive ever seen. He can kick the ball, but I really dont think he can lead a team, he seems very withdrawn, and quiet, not the kinda person you want leading a team..

Although, I do admit, your other chioces are very limited.

It will be interesting to see how he goes against the SANZAR teams in November.

It would seem that a lot of others share this view, what do you think about the upcoming Lions tour?

u kiddin
No actually.
I think having an entire england back line is a good thing, as they will be better as a team (and on paper, i think neville is the best RB in the world, and Campbell and Ferdinand are both in the top 5 CB's), and Cole is young, and about as good as roberto carlos at coming forward (and better at defensive duties).
I chose beckham and ronaldo to provide sure service, and add more creativity into the side respectively, Keane is to solid up the defence more, and i think rooney plays brilliant in the attacking midfield, just behind the striker role (and the option of him switching with henry in this position provides flexibility).

Man U has a proven record in creating top quality players from young stars, and knows how to nurture players, get the best out of them, and not over-play them.
Newcastle has not got this reputation (although has produced a couple of half decent players in the last few years, i suppose).
I think there is no place better for rooney at the moment than man u.

Its hard. The spanish clubs on paper should do well, but i don't think they will.
I'm undecided about italian clubs, but they are among the other main contenders with the british clubs i think.

Man U and Chelsea both have the sort of side which could win it, arsenal don't i'm afraid.

Chelsea will do well. Hopefully they will win it to make up for the potential win that they never took last year. I will have to say that in Europe, Chelsea will better than Arsenal, it's not just history I'm considering here though.
