Austria v England?

David James could have a DVD released with goalkeeping howlers. I'd purchase a copy!

I think for the sake of the advert it will be more effective than a retired decent goalkeeper. It will be unfortunate if the 2-2 against Macedonia corner kick is in there, because that rather unfortunate of David Seaman.

Just wondering if anyone else has been following the recent developments about Joe Dhinsa launching a takeover bid for the club and what they think about it? We were once a great Premership team who have been in financial ruins over the last few years, leading to great players leaving e.g. Robbie Keane, John Hartson, Dion Dublin, Haji, Hedman, Kirkland, Davenport, Bellamy etc etc etc.

Does anyone remember the great moments of when city were in the Top Flight? Hopefully the takeover will go thorugh, with millions being invested and CCFC will again be a great club. :tsr:

Coventry City, Forest, Wimbledon, the list is endless of clubs that once were decent Premiership sides and then went down the pan.

As a Forest fan I liked Coventry, always a decent atmosphere at the games and usually a high scoring match too.

Gillette Tri-Nations Final sold out

TUESDAY - 16th November 2004

The final of the Gillette Tri-Nations is confirmed as a 39,000 sell-out.

Great Britain face Australia at Elland Road Stadium in Leeds on Saturday 27th November 2004 (ko 6.15pm) in the deciding game of the inaugural tournament.

Over 27,000 tickets had already been pre-sold for the event prior to last Saturday's victory by the Lions over Australia and the remaining seats for the final were snapped up by fans in the aftermath of that game.

Meanwhile, all fans are reminded that there are still some tickets available for Game Six of the Gillette Tri-Nations Tournament between Great Britain and New Zealand this Saturday at Hull's Kingston Communications Stadium (ko 6.15pm).

They can be purchased from the Rugby League Events Hotline (0870) 990 13 13 and from the stadium box office itself.

If Great Britain beat the Kiwi's they will finish top of the tournament's qualifying pool.

Just wondering what everyones Rugby Union World XV would be at the moment. Internationally retired players allowed e.g Martin Johnson, but they must still be playing professional rugby?
Mine would be:

3. Pieter de Villers (France)
4. Martin Johnson (c) (England)
5. Chris Jack (New Zealand)
6. Richard Hill (England)

8. Lawrence Dallaglio (England)

9. George Greegan (Australia)
10. Jonny Wilkinson (England)
11. Doug Howlet (New Zealand)
12. Tana Umanga (New Zealand)
13. Brian O'Driscoll (Ireland)
14. Josh Lewsey (England)

No George Smith? Hes the best blindside int he world. And Bernie at Fly has a CV that St Jonny can only dream about. No arguements about Brian, he is fantastic. As im working on my fowards, id have Jon Smit in there as well. Doug at sea, err... well, hmm, *cough cough* Got **** all over in the 3N.
