Yea he is talented but arrogant also. He isnt as bad as he used to be though but that may be because he isnt playing as well

If someone went into work and said, umm, no I don't think I'll do that report because I'm better at filing, he'd be fired. This is no different.
But in football its different as players specialise in certain positions and this could also effect his chances of playing up front for Wales, for example if a worker at Jaguar worked in I.T, he wouldnt be then asked to work in Finance the next day.

Other footballers seem more flexible when told by their manager. Why should people be different?

No offence mate but thats *******s. Bellamy gtes paid a **** load of money by Newcastle to PLAY for Newcastle. If Souness asks him to go in goal he should do it. At least Dyer told Bobby Robson he didnt want to play instead of feigning injury. Get rid I say.

Erm, you might want to have been watching SkySportsNews for the last 15 minutes - a live interview with Bellamy from his house.

I have massive respect for him after that and my opinion of Souness (not that it could've got lower anyway) is that he's not fit for management at any level. How he can treat players like that is beyond me.

I've just emailed SSN in support of Bellamy, and from the emails they've just read out it seems literally the whole country's supporting him - about 10 Newcastle fans have joined Blackburn, Portsmouth and Bury fans in praising Bellamy for that interview. A boro fan has just joined them.

Well done Craig Bellamy.

Very small and insignificant now, despite its fans trying their very best to make something out of nothing.

Basically we are a premiership team on loan to the championship. Just how long the loan is we dont know.
The way I view it, you get classed as a Premiership team, top 6 side (for Europe) when you earn it by doing exactly that. Quite a few teams this year seem to be talking about the top 6 recently, with more teams than places.

yeah i watched that interview live too. bellas is the very few newcastle players who really gets out there and gives 150% every match WHEREVER HE PLAYS. souness has NO right to treat him like that. in my opinion he isnt fit to manage this club at all! i feel one of them is leaving, could be very soon, in weeks maybe. and i hope the leaving one is the scots not the welsh.
i dont think bellamy will get much support from the team mates but one thing is sure: he gets supports from every single toon fan!!!

I love playing tennis in the Summer months and this year I want to compete. I was wondering where I might get information for entering comps and stuff? Also what sort of price the entry fees are and whether or not I'd be eligible for U18 comps? I'm 18 this year (March).

Cheers for any replys.
I play quite a bit of tennis (but taking a year out this year because of back problem ) and competitions are awesome. I'd join the LTA if I were you, and you'll be assigned a rating. Most tournaments require you to have a rating, so once you have this you can play so much more.

You can ask the LTA to mail you info about tournaments in your county, and also if you go round local clubs you can pick up info about their tournaments.

Tennis is HARDDDDDDD.........its the hardest sport i ever played......when the ball comes to you, it either bounces too high or too low, and it either goes over your head or you end up completly missing it and falling over

The serve is bloody HARDDDDDD as well, you even toss it too high, and it goes like 5 metres away. Even if i manage to toss the ball in a straight line (yeah, right..).......i can't even get a good contact on the ball, and it ends up going behind me, or on the opposite side of where you suppose to serve to.

I have good eye co-ordination and fairly agile and fast, but tennis is toooooooooo hard.....i consider myself an average football and field hockey player, but when it comes to tennis, my grandma can play better then me

its not hard if youre good

Cheers sorry to hear about the back problem, I've suffered before now with back problems and tennis is one of those sports where you just can't risk it. Hurts like a biatch too.

he is in trouble now. shepherd just said he faked the injury and lied to the club, to team mates and to the fans. and will face internal discipline by newcastle.

So if he's sacked, does that mean the Football League will criticise Newcastle United for it for the same reasons with Adrian Mutu and Chelsea?

As seen as it's only a friendly, i'd give both Shaun Wright Phillips and Stuart Downing a chance. They only way they're going to get better or experienced is by playing. We have nothing to lose as it's only a freindly. If they can't cut it, then we'll find out. I'd also play Jermain Defoe alongside Owen, and i'd probably give Andy Johnson a call up. He's having a tremendous season and deserves a chance. Fair enough if he is **** next season, then he doesnt play again, similar to Ricketts. But like with SWP and Downing there's nothing to lose.

As for the captain, Beckham should never have been given the armband. At the time it should have gone to Ferdinand. Now though, it should be given to Terry just ahead of Rio and Gerrard. All 3 are would make a good leader, but id go with Terry. Campbell should be dropped.
