United sign wonder kid Giuseppe Rossi off Parma!!
Man U also snatch up Pique on a free transfer, as he rejects Barcalona's offer.

16 and 17 years old respectively.
Lots of good young signings for United!
This can only mean good news!?

got back about an hour ago, spent about 3 hours guarding my spot at the front to get the best view, by 6.00pm the streets were jam packed.

between 6 and 7 we saw the safety car about 20 times which became so irritating since everyone was at the ready with their cameras. Then finally a jordan came out and flew by rather randomly, everyone seemed to be thinking 'did we just miss something?' (or at least thats what it was like in the area i was standing).

generally i thought it was pretty good, but then again i love everything to do with F1. Quite a few people thought it was a bit of an anti climax, especially those who queued for as long as me for a good spot. Montoya and Brundle were the most entertaining, Monty went physco with his 360's at the end of his lap, brundle stopped in the middle of the street and starting revving the engine. DC also threw a cloud of smoke into the guards which was quite amusing.

My legs are aching now, im going to bed.

15 secs for 100m isn't too bad. I used to be a runner too, though short distances were not my speciality. I used to get 13 seconds for 100m. I'm more of a 800m - 1500m personally and I also do cross country.
I always came 2nd in the races though, because in my year there was a girl who won awards for being the fastest girl in the goddamn region! No chance I would get past her!

I didn't join any clubs - but I still run for a hobby. (I get up every morning at 5 for a morning run).

You may not be able to improve much on short distances - perhaps your technique could be improved? But for long distances it isn't too hard to knock off a few sec/mins

Anyone been and come back yet?
    Yeah. It was awesome.

My mates and I went around London for the first part of the day, but got to Piccadily Circus by 5.00 p.m. The crowds had already filled the place. After much confusion and frustration we managed to find ourselves at the first bend, but behind about three lines of people. The crowds were terrible. The cars did not start until about seven o' clock, but it was worth it.

Mansell, Montoya and Brundle were the best. My legs ache.

I do 100m in 1 minute 15s, but it was 5 seconds slower before I started looking at technique. Hopefully I'll be in the 1:13s before the year is out

lol sounds like the situation I'm in! I'm 18, have the stunning time of 15 seconds for 100m, and have been training in an athletics club for 4 years Though thankfully I've never been much of sprinter, and I'm much better at 800 and 1500m so I don't really need to worry about it too much.

There is definately a chance of improving, ok, so you probably won't be world class but you can better yourself! Try to enjoy your running more, so it doesn't feel like you have to put an almighty effort in to train harder, and take up weights if you don't do them already, - not to build up your muscles, but to give you extra power, as more power=faster speed.
are you boy or girl, sorry
