Don't apply to Inter Hecs they are the worst in terms of providing correct advise and support and they also took my advance money of £500 with no conscience despite me withdrawing from the process after 1 week. I wanted to join Bulgarian University via InterHecs. They had not done any admin work!! Not professional! This was for 2023-2024 intake.

InterHECS certainly appears to be a good service, offering assistance with various aspects of the application and immigration processes. However, after some deliberation, I've decided to tackle the formalities on my own. I appreciate the convenience that comes with using a service like InterHECS, but I don't believe the effort to manage these tasks independently will be too overwhelming. Plus, it could potentially save me some money which I can put towards other aspects of my education. I paid the bemedi only courses cause I want to score high on the test. I really want to avoid taking a resit which is 300€ I think. the online course is 180€ so it was kind of a no brainer for me. I struggled with chemistry now I am slowly getting it.

Hey, are you studying medicine now? Did you manage everything alone? Would you mind sharing your experience with me

Yes I finally applied directly in another country as I wanted to speak to the Unis directly and was unable to do so with the Bulgarian Universities available at that time Trakia and Plodiv (as I was late in applying to the others). BTW it was for my daughter and she is thankfully about to finish her 1st year now.

Hi there!

To anyone reading this, I am a Bulgarian who has studied in the UK and is doing his A-Levels next year. I also want to return to my home country to study dentistry in Plovdiv university. My questions are:

"Will my A-Level grades be admissible as proof for entrance into said university?"
"Will I be required to do another exam?" "If yes, will this exam cover the same topics as the A-Levels?"

I am a parent (from UK)and looking for medical admission for our daughter at Sofia or Plovdiv. Could you please suggest a reputable agency in your opinion that I can rely on to get admission for 2024? I would also appreciate if you could let me know approximate agency charges that we might have to be looking at for their services.

Hi there - can I ask whether you went independently and how you got on?
I want to do the same but finding it difficult to follow the translation and notarisatoon process.
Also not sure what they mean by “certificate to confirm eligibility to study at a higher education establishment”
Any tips greatly appreciated!

Hi is anyone applying to Trakia Univeristy this year ?

Reply 91

Hi, I currently have an offer to study medicine at Sofia University in September. However I have done no sort of entrance exams to get my place. Apparently, something to do with the Bulgarian administration they will not let you in without a C in both biology and Chemistry A-level. I got a C in biology and a D in chemistry. I just wanted to know whether they would revoke my place and I am being conned through a dodgy agency or if I am just a bit too worried. Furthermore what agencies and medical schools abroad would you guys recommend to apply to.

Is it Sofia University or Sofia Medical University. For the Medical University there is an entrance exam in chemistry, biology, and english which is compulsory for all students and i doubt there's any way they would give you a offer without taking the exam. Sofia University i'm not 100% sure on the grade entry requirements for the course but it also seems to have the same entrance exam. In this case I think it would be better for you to schedule a call or meeting with your agency to go over this as it seems serious. SME seem like a reputable agency but i can't say whether or not you are being conned, it may just be miscommunication. I applied with Inter Hecs for SMU and so far the application has been good if you need any more infomation im happy to help!
