Wearing sportswear when you're not partaking in a sport, is in my opinion, chavtastic.

I was wondering do people consider Nike to be chavy? I am not talking about the track suit pants because they're quitr chavy but I mean like your normal Nike t-shirt something like this:

Or:

OI, remember this,
it's not what you wear, it's the way you wear it,
remember this so next time you wont have to come on the internet to approve clothes you can and cant wear,
you could wear nike TN's and adidas full track suit, if you funk it in a special way, it will not be chav, CHAV is a state of mind not just clothing, remmber that

a bit excessive, wearing trackies alone doesnt make you a chav, its a combination of dress and behaviour

ew Nike reeks of chav.

This include Nike shoes?
Or maybe even Nike football boots??
Cos I have both  And love em.
Sportswear is comfortable, I always wear tracksuit pants when I'm inside as it's more comfortable than sitting in jeans. But I wouldn't wear them outside. However I have no problem going out in my Adidas and Nike branded jumpers in the winter. They may not be stylish as they're 3-4 years old but they keep me warm and chances are if it's cold enough for a jumper I'm going to have a nice jacket on top anyway.

go to tk maxx and look through the casual wear section, the nike stuff there is amusing

Don't know how you mean amusing but tk maxx's casual wear section is ****. TK Maxx is good for smart-casual stuff though and jeans.

Personally, I don't wear tracksuits and such outside of the gym, just not my style. However I do put on tracksuit bottoms when I'm just jamming at home cause they're comfortable and I do wear trainers all the time (as well as Converses) and I wear Nike/Adidas hoodies/jackets. I guess that makes me a chav

Do people consider Nike footwear chavvy. Say a pair of Dunks like:

Well I have trainers like these:

and a few pairs of joggers like these:

Only wear the trainers for the gym and ill wear the joggers for lounging round the house or going to the gym. Sometimes wear them with Stan Smith's for the library though.. I prefer to be comfortable and it's not like anyones really gonna notice my trousers when they're hidden under a desk. SO yeah..to answer your question I wear Nike quite often and I wouldn't consider it chavvy in all cases! I'm deffo not a chav

Yes Nike is considered Chav.

Of course it ultimately depends on the person and item of clothing imo.

But as a general rule of thumb... you'd be right.
If you're wearing nike clothing for its sporting use - nike shorts to play football, work out, run in. A nike vest to play basketball in, then you're fine. I wouldn't myself (I swear by Adidas for running), but nike make plenty of great running shoes, and some quite fashionable high-tops if you're into that kind of clothing.

Wearing tracksuits as casual wear is pretty chavvy whatever the outfit.

Nobody's going to complain about you wearing a pair of plain black nike jogging trousers to slouch around the house, but not to wear out.

Those dunks could be fashionable in white with a good pair of slim fit raw denim jeans, but somehow I get the feeling that's not your style.

Try and ween yourself off of running/skate shoes as casualwear though.

Who cares what snobs think of you? Wear what you want to wear.

depends on what nike you wear, usually only nike shoes aren't chavy and only baskeball/90's nike shoes are cool imo
I think Nike used to be seen as chavy, but not so much anymore. Or maybe I just think that because some of my friends have started wearing Nike trainers, and they are far from chavy!
But yeh, wear what you want really.

Looks fine, OP.

"Trackies" aren't my first choice of clothing for everyday wear but I will wear them on lazy days around the house - or when I'm partaking in a sport (obviously )

its not chavy.

it depends on the person wearing the clothing.
