Bsc Computing and Management at Loughborough University

I’ve applied at Loughborough university for the computing and management undergraduate course and I had a few questions.
1. How much programming does the course entail?
2. Would computer science be a more competitive degree to have in the job market, or can this course give you the same advantage ?
3. How long does it take to hear back from Loughborough? (I applied in December)
4. What is Loughborough, the town like ? (heard it’s quite small but feels homely)
5. What’s the diversity like ?

Would appreciate if anyone could answer these questions and hope I get accepted.

Hi @ai.Jennifer,

It's fantastic to hear that you're interested in studying at Loughborough!

I wanted to try and answer some of your questions.

If you have already, don't worry, but I wondered if you'd looked at the course page for BSc Computing with Management for more details on the modules and careers information? The course page is here: https://www.lboro.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/computing-and-management-bsc/

For more information on when you'll find out about your decision, I would recommend viewing these UCAS application FAQs. However, you can email [email protected] with your UCAS PID for further assistance: https://www.lboro.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/apply/faqs/

In terms of Loughborough as a place, you can find out a little bit more about the town here: https://www.lboro.ac.uk/about/location/

However, it may also be worth viewing this page for more information about the campus itself: https://www.lboro.ac.uk/about/loughborough-campus/

Finally, I would recommend taking a look at our website for more information on diversity at Loughborough University: https://www.lboro.ac.uk/equity-diversity-inclusion

You could also view our blogs on equity, diversity and inclusion too: https://blog.lboro.ac.uk/edi/

I hope this helps a little bit! If you have any other questions, let me know
