AT you need to move out of your parents house. YOU NEED TO. It's not good for you, your confidence or your sex life.
What's wrong with living at home?

In ATs case its preventing him from gaining the freedom of studentdom. The first time I was a student I hated my course but in those three years I changed so much and grew so much as a person. It wouldn't have happened if I had been at home.

I know, I intend to once a I get a proper job I need somthing to really push me to do it though. For this reason I kind of hope I find a job not in Manchester so I have an excuse not to move out.

I've let this go on too long, I have a lecture tomorrow morning and I am still on an internet forum!

Its hardly surprising I have this problem though, I think most people are amazed I have any kind of normal life at all considered my school life was so bad. For this reason its taking me a long time to kind of develop and in terms of sexual maturity I feel more like an 18 year old. I think it will happen though and everything will turn out well.

Two years ago I never went out clubbing ever, now I have to turn people down because I don't have enough money or time to go out clubbing every other night.

On another note its only the last couple of months I have been feeling a lot more confident and considering the life I had three years ago its pretty amazing at the moment.

People may have noticed I don't tend to get depressed anymore, remember a year ago I was a depressed idiot of SUK.

I had decided not to go to University and just go straight into the RAF, but my friend who is a couple of years older then me has told me so many cool stories that i changed my mind. I'm now going to go to Uni via a sponsorship. I can't wait.

Seriously, if I'd stayed living at home when I went to uni (not feasible as there are no med schools near enough, but anyway) I'd probably be in the same position as AT. Getting out and even just having your own room in halls, without parents around, and being independent, is sooooo important.

Though my lovely friends sometimes make up for the lack of parental disapproval by their excessive gossipage.
