Nea aqa english lit coursework

hi, can anyone help me with some suggestions about the NEA coursework for english literature
i’m looking into feminist side (gender rolls/ individual v society)
i’m not sure with what novels would both go nicely so i can contrast them with each-other
i was thinking about little women by louisa may but not sure what book would fit nicely with that

you could maybe do hand maids tale?
For eng lit I do Tess of the D'urberville and A Thousand Splendid Suns, those go well with that theme and compare well. I would suggest having a look at those too.

Isn't Tess of the D'urbervilles on the list of texts you can't use?

Never seen this list before, I would say ask your teacher because it says handmaid's tale isnt allowed but I know 2 people who are doing that.

what questions do u recommend comparing Tess of the D'urbeville and A Thousand Splendid Suns with
I did 'Memoirs of A Geisha' by Arthur Golden for my NEA. I looked at femininity. I do English combined, so for my comparison text I used extracts from Love Island (yes the tv show🙃) to look at the changes in femininity over time. Hope this helps!
