B A law senior status

Would like to pursue BA law with senior status which should I prefer , Oxford/Cambridge?
I have read elsewhere that Oxford is more academically inclined whereas Cambridge is more practical

Any insight will be much appreciated!

You'd have a world-class education at either university. I think the decision between Ox and Cam should not be based on academics but rather should be a lifestyle choice, as you'll live there for two to three years.

I chose Oxford over Cambridge because I like the level of urbanisation, because there are less bikes, because it's closer to other cities that I want to visit.

Visit both cities if you have the time and see whether they would feel like home.

Did you end up applying and get in?? I am thinking about applying for the BA law senior status are both as competitive as each other??? Is it really competitive still at post graduate level and is there any point in applying if my A-levels aren't great or is it worth it if I have a first?

At Oxford and at Cambridge the law degrees are academic in nature. Practical training for lawyers takes place after university (although at university there may be moots and what not). The only way to learn how to practise law is to practise law. Lawyering is like driving, skiing, cooking, etc. You have to do it in order to learn it. That is why those wishing to be solicitors do training contracts and those wishing to be barristers do pupillage.
