Probably find if a list is published they will be unable to use it until the budget situation is sorted out as the vacancies are being covered with TPs and agency staff which can be removed quickly if staffing levels change

I was on to HR connect this morning and they said they have no timescale as to when the results are out, so who knows really what the situation is 🤷🏻*♂️

I think it all depends on who you get talking to in HRC. They should really have the same message being sent out.

Yeah, that is their "stock" answer. But i was talking to someone at length about another issue and was having a bit of banter too and just asked them when i was on the phone if they knew anything about it, and that is what they told me. Look, it is what it is. It doesn't really matter when they issue. I'm just passing on info

I had been told in the middle of March that the results would be out in the next couple of weeks and we are now approaching the end of April but as I've said even though they have all these vacancies and only 5 left on the current list without a budget to guarantee the money to pay the wages the list is almost pointless except for answering the question of how I did

Wasn’t having a go, just highlighting that it’s hard to get any proper info out of them, even harder to know what is correct. As someone else stated, they would be getting asked this question quite a bit, so should be giving out the same info to everyone.

Recruitment will continue, not a whisper of a recruitment freeze and there was leaks last week regarding budget to media my guess that would have definitely been in the leaks to prepare staff imo.

Haha, don't worry i know you weren't. I'm just frustrated. I'm sitting on the SO list and waited for ages for that too and just sitting on a list that isn't going anywhere. The talk is that Heaton-Harris is going to make things so bad that the Politician's will have no choice but to reform an executive, and when that happens, anyone sitting on a list, i'm sure will get a nice letter soon. The current structure at Stormont is not sustainable, so i would imagine that something will be done to prevent the DUP from doing this again.

You are also 100% correct about HR Connect, what i should have also mentioned was that it definitely depends who you speak to. I happened to get someone good and i'm not sure if they would divulge that sort of information unless they knew it was correct. So fingers crossed it does issue this week, we all do well :-)
