Isn't it! Took them long enough to get results out!
Does anyone know how many are on the merit list, I'm 103h, I don't think I have much chance of an offer!

It doesn’t matter how many are below you really. You might be ok if the list is being held till the end of the year

I’m 053H. I think there must be a lot of vacancies and if there’s SO results due out as well that could open up more EO1 posts. Fingers crossed for us all

Hopefully that is not the case but this looks promising (figures from just before our interviews took place) 🙂

Useful information to know. There's a current SO/DP competition too isnt there. I think DP Iinterviews are ongoing and SO interviews have just finished. Highly likely some current substantive EO1s will be moving into some of those roles making more room for those on the merit list in this competition.

Is this from April? Won’t numbers have changed quite a bit since then particularly with the 2/7 email? Don’t know if it was just after a recruitment phase too or not too whereas this one (two?) have been delayed.

So, I am assuming we are tranche 7? So it looks like over 100 places were been filled in 2 weeks, yet there were only 21 unplaced up to tranche 6. Strange?!

Yeah it doesn't add up
In the earlier FOI, it says 144 people remain to be placed from phase 6 but this had dropped to 15 by the end of April. The 176 vacancies included those who had been allocated to someone but who hadn't yet started. There must've been a whole load of offers that went out at the same time, with start dates at the end of April which would account for the drop in figures. Some people would also have declined offers as well.

There will have been more vacancies raised since the end of April to now and more are likely to be more raised by 2nd July following the email request. I'd say there'll be enough new vacancies this year for everyone to be placed, especially as there are SO and DP interviews ongoing.

Anyone any idea what number they are at in regards interviews? I flunked the tests for E01 and ended up at like 4000 or something. Probably never get to me but holding a very slight degree of hope that you never know.

I don’t know for sure but think I was maybe around 2,800 and I interviewed in April there. My friend was like 2,000 ish and she interviewed in November 2023. I never expected to get an interview I just assumed I was out of the running until my friend got her interview.

What's the guesses on offers and movement on the latest batch on the merit list...September? October? Later?

I'd say late July/early August. That'll give time HR time to add the new vacancies declared by 2 July to the exisitng list and start allocating posts working their way down the merit list.
