Any existing staff I know just got a letter that gave them a post, place and start date.

i'm still waiting - apparently there are 52 people in front of me for my chosen area/work pattern... oddly enough there were 107 vacant posts for that area/work pattern as at 30/09/24, yet no movement or anything. Comical

Waiting to see the impact of the SO placements first the last I heard. Their offer letters aren’t out yet but think they’ve been allocated

The new SOs are starting on Monday. HR should be looking at the gaps left from that and filling those posts with our merit list if there are bids in. I don’t think they’ve closed our list yet but this might be the last allocations from it

Last i spoke to HR, I believe our merit list was extended to end of March 2025.

Email out this morning saying they are preparing to fill more vacancies with this merit list. Deadline of 29 January to declare vacancies so will be a while before we hear anything but at least there’s movement!

Offering posts again now, got an offer yesterday after having to turn down prev offer in Oct as it didn't suit.
