Can I do a second allied healthcare degree with funding

I am currently doing an MSc on one of the NHS courses which I got student loan/maintenance for and NHS grant. I am coming to the end of this course but during my time have thought I'd like to change to speech therapy (another NHS funded course). I'd rather finish my course at this point but if I graduate can I do another MSc with funding?

Hi there,

Can you confirm the course you're currently doing? Would the new course be full time or part time?

Thanks,
Claire

Hi there,

Allied Health Professional and NHS courses will be exempt from previous study and ELQ rules. Therefore if you already hold a degree, or have previous study, you will still be eligible to access the full package of funding.

Thanks,
Claire

If you do an MBA postgrad that was funded by student finance, are you eligible for funded NHS courses?

Hi Calibann,

Yes, courses such as Midwifery, Nursing and Allied Health Professional courses are exceptions to previous study and equal level qualification rules.

Thanks, Clare
