oxford personal statement

i know there is a separate, cambridge-specific personal statement as well as the one you write for all university applications. does the same also apply to oxford?
There's no supplementary personal statement for Oxford admissions - comparatively, they ask for far less than Cambridge does when making decisions. Some courses do require admissions tests and submission of written work, though.
To be fair also, Oxford has fewer "unusual" courses than Cambridge on the whole where an alternate PS would be needed - off the top of my head human sciences is probably really the only one (arguably some of the language options in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies but I think the kinds of people who apply to those are going to be laser focused on that subject anyway, whereas something like land economy or natural sciences at Cambridge may draw a wider range of applicants for a variety of reasons with different interests). So it's probably less practically needed anyway there.
