The Student Room Group

See my post here regarding the unreliable nature of league tables and the notion of a 'best' course: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7281793

Uni of Leeds is more academic (because it's part of a red brick Uni), both Leeds Arts and Man Met are both large in terms of yeargroup size. All are roughly at the same level in terms of the quality of work their students produce. I know it's not on your list, but if you want to be in that part of the world Sheffield Hallam has brilliant tutors.

Here are my options at the moment:
-University of Leeds (Only uni I've got an offer from so far)
-Manchester Met University
-Leeds Arts Uni

please help me decide, If you are a student in any of these universities studying graphic design please help me out and tell me what you think of them

Hi @oriogonala

It can be super tricky to decide which university is going to be best for you! You can chat with some of our current students here: https://www.mmu.ac.uk/chatwithus although we may not have a student available from our specific Graphic Design course, hopefully one of the ambassadors can give you some insight into what the university is like!

If you get an offer to study from us you will be invited to one of our applicant visit days which may help you decide on which university is right for you.

Applicant Visit Days are exclusively for our offer holders, each subject has a tailor-made programme. On a typical Applicant Visit Day you can:

Join an interactive session with a tutor and your future classmates.

Take a tour of our student accommodation.

Ask our team questions on a range of topics, from your student finance application, careers and work placements, to societies and clubs you can join.

Chat to our current students who can tell you all about their studies and student life at Manchester Met.

The day is designed to give you a taste of what studying at Manchester Met will be like.

I hope this helps! Good luck with your application!

Carly
