Sources of funding for a small survey for my PhD?

I'm trying to run a survey for my PhD thesis on people's perceptions of information shared on social media vs. news media. I received a little bit of funding from my department, but it's not enough to get a sufficiently large sample size.

I've been combing UK funding bodies/Prospects/FindAPhD etc. for small research grants for current PhD students but so far, no luck. They're mostly grants for postdoctoral/mid-career researchers etc. Does anyone else have any suggestions on places to apply? I've exhausted my college/department funding.

So, I have no idea what your PhD subject is but are you apart of any associations / professional societies?? (((For example for me it’s the Quartenary Research association or association for environmental archaeology))). And often you can apply for student / pgr grants?

secondly, and I know everyone says this but have you looked at the alternative guide to postgrad funding because they often have niche charities willing to fund aspects of research.
