As a football venue it’s far too big for the area that it’s in. I went yesterday for the first time in years and I’d forgotten how bad it is

The new digital tickets are a disaster too.

It’s really a corporate events facility then a sports stadium. It’s all about hosting as many corporate clients per match day as possible and it shows. The bowl itself is soulless, a stadium should feel like a fortress not a networking event.
Some people include Wembley Arena as part of Wembley…they aren’t the same!
I lived there so god knows how many. 1 million ?
Wembley isn’t the best stadium in the UK anymore, it is the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The facilities there are far ahead of any other stadium in the Uk. Daniel Levy has done a brilliant job there. They have now launched a partnership with F1 to launch a go-kart track there.

Wembley is too big to see anything unless you are near the front. When the event ends you’ll struggle to get out quickly and it wouldn’t be safe to go to the toilet without encountering someone asking you to smoke something. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is much better.

Anfield, ibrox, celtic park, millenium stadium, twickenham, st james, city ground, elland rd are all better stadiums then white hart lane. Tbf ive never actually been to White hart lane but it looks like it has excellent facilities but doesn’t have the true fortress feel, it’s got more atmosphere then wembley but lacks the intimidating atmosphere great stadiums have.

It's a fine stadium, up there with any in the world

But it also cost >£1bn

Think about that for a second. That's about twice as much as the Emirates cost, at 2023 prices. The Emirates is not a great stadium and actually fairly spartan. No facilities really but a good view from anywhere and equal capacity. So Levy didnt do a great job, he got ripped off.

White Hart Lane was Tottenham’s old stadium. I wasn’t referring to the atmospheres at football games but the means of a stadium hosting big events. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has by far the best facilities than every other stadium in the UK.

He was aiming to make money back from hosting major sporting events which he has done so far in Usyk Joshua I, the NFL, and Fury Chisora III. I’d say Daniel Levy is the best businessman in English football, but I guess that’s a different conversation to be had another time.

Levy blatantly lied to Harry Kane’s face whilst shaking hands with him, and managed to keep him at the club to be performing at a level better than any of his previous seasons.

Well the facilities are top notch, can't deny it.

Never unfortunately
Not even once so far. And I have my doubts I ever will. Football has not anymore a high priority in my life.
Must be at least 15 now, last time being the League Cup final a week ago. I'm not a fan. Feel it's too corporate, too expensive and an absolute nightmare to get away from once the game finishes.

And what is the reason why ypu are still in Wembley to see a match? it is, as if you have lost your fun.
