What's all this 'autonomic nervous system' crap?
there is muscles in the body(organs) that works without you thinking about it. like the muscles that controls breathing and digestion if i remeber it correctly.

Yeah, then you do actually have to force yourself to breathe. It's like there's a vacuum around you, and all the air's just being sucked out of your lungs. What's all this 'autonomic nervous system' crap?
It's people trying to tell us we usually have to force ourselves to stop breathing ='( wtf.

It's actually the spine controlling them, otherwise it was pretty correct. spine as in red bonemarrow or something, not sure what you call it.

It can happen when your scared or shocked all of a sudden. I think in your case though you are actually breathing slightly but without knowing but then you just take a deep breath
But it's actually quite heavy and thus feels like I forgot to breathe somewhere.

Lol. I know what it is, but it doesn't apply to breathing :p:
 the breathing cycle is connected to both sympathetic and parasympathetic actions of the ANS..

it's not the spine that control's breathing, it's the respiratory centre in the medulla oblongata of the brainstem. this centre sends impulses via the ANS to the diaphragm etc.

the spine is part of the PNS, and associated mainly with reflex reponses such as drawing your hand away from a heat source.
