# Uni module percentages

Hi guys...some maths whizz's needed !!!!
Trying to work out some percentages for my uni grade
2nd year is worth 33% and I got 65.66%
Currently in 3rd year.

So if 120 3rd year credits equate to 67% of my degree, and I do 6 20 credit modules, what percentage of each grade is each 3rd year module worth? I have completed 2/6 3rd year modules,72/100 in one module and 52/100 in another. What percentage of my final grade have I got so far?

I might get that you're not doing physics, maths, or engineering degrees, but I am a little curious to what subject you are doing for you to score 52% and 72% in your modules. You often don't get these sort of marks unless it's in a quantitative subject.

Final grade = 0.33*65.66 + 0.67*x
= 21.6678 + 0.67x
= 21.6678 + 0.67[(1/6)*72 + (1/6)*52 + (4/6)x]
= 21.6678 + 0.67[12+8.66+ (2/3)x]
= 21.6678 + 13.8422 + 0.4466x= 35.51 + 0.4466x

In other words, the average of the 4 remaining modules make up roughly 45% weighting of the final grade. So far you have banked 35.51%.

what percentage of each grade is each 3rd year module worth?
0.67*(1/6) = 0.111666.. or as I would like to put it (2/3)*(1/6) = 1/9 a little over 11%

What percentage of my final grade have I got so far?
0.33+0.67*[(1/6)+(1/6)] = 0.33+0.67*1/3 = 0.55333... or you have completed rougly 55% of your degree
You can also say that you have completed (1-4*(1/9) remaining modules =) 5/9 of the degree.
Thankyou so much!!!!

I do Bsc Management @ Uni of Manchester (Flopped a module and got 52 which sent me into panic mode)!!!

Let me know if you need help to find out what you need the average grade in the remaining 4 units to be in order to secure a 2:1, 65%, or 1st class.
