I was on Microgynon 30, it gave me rank spots.
I was on Dianette, it was perfect but apparently not good for your liver so was only allowed it for 6 months.
I was on Yasmin which gave me spotting.
I was on Cilest and it made me depressed.
Now I'm not on anything, it's not good for you to put unatural things into your body so don't take it for the sake of it.

Yeah I thought this was odd, as my doctor told me this but my best friend was on it for about 3 years too and her doctor was fine with that. And they're both from the same practice. (!!)

I haven't really had any problems with the pill. I'm on loestrin 20 and it has completely eradicated the excessive period pain and ridiculously tender breasts I complained to the doctor about. also, my periods have become much lighter, so much so that I don't get one at all, on occasion(which is my only real complaint- I get paranoid that I'm pregnant a lot.)

as for side effects.. I've not put on a lot of weight(if any), I haven't broken out in loads of spots and my breasts have remained the same size(thank god, any bigger than an A cup and I'd hate it.)

My doctor said that it isnt prescribed for contraception anymore as it is found to work better as an acne treatment so now I have to pay prescription charge for it!
