Would never do it. Its wrong and disgusting. Though you cant **** me off for it as I am a Blood and bone marrow donor. Just organs, its wrong even if you are dead.

I'm sure that the beneficiaries of organ donation share your sentiments..

I've already got a donor card, but I can't give blood coz of my piercing (yet...), so if I died tomorrow I'm not sure they'd want anything else

Its a perfectly good viewpoint to have - not wanting to donate I mean.

Some people want their body whole when theyre dead rather than bits scattered. Some families have a distinct wish to put the whole of their son/daughter's body to rest.

I've been considering it but I'm a bit uncomfortable with the thought like lessthanthree. But... it would be a good use to someone else...argh!

You can't for 1 year after you've had it. Some people on this site say 6 months, but the blood donor site and blood donation centre say one year.

My philosophy when it comes to stuff like this is, "when in doubt, do nowt"

(: I'm not sure, so I'm sitting on my hands for a while

Yup. I am a blood donor, and also want to donate my organs, post-mortem.

Don't forget to discuss it with your next of kin, but I'm sure you've read about that

Had a donor card for years. Would give blood but I'm too light. As soon as I hit 7 stone 12 I'll start.
