Medicine EPQ

My future profession is to be a Forensic Pathologist and I plan to write an EPQ inspired by forensic pathology. I'm not sure what to write as I need to be as scientific as possible without trying to stray too far into the Criminal side. This is bc applying to Medical schools as you have to become a doctor to specialise in. Here are some of my options: (any suggestions too PLEASE!!)

- How the environment can affect the rate of the decomposition of the body. ( i will talk about the enzyme and cell activity )

- The microbial clock ( necrobiome: bacteria and corpse to figure out time of death )

- zombie brains: where 32 pig brains were attached to an artificial perfusion system that mimicked blood flow ( BrainEx) and was able to keep cells "alive" for as long as 36 hrs where they could metabolise sugar and create brain electrical signals.

THANK YOU! HELP IS NEEDED <333
