History MA Personal Statement Advice?
Hi everyone,
I am just looking for some help and advice. Currently I have decided I want to pursue an MA in History and have began writing my personal statement.
Does anybody have any advice regarding writing a MA History (or similar subject) personal statement? How different is it from an undergraduate personal statement?
Also, when talking about my undergraduate degree (History) how detailed should I be? Should I mentioned what my dissertation was about?
Any additional advice would be helpful.

You should definitely mention the title of your UG Dissertation and a brief summary of what you researched and how you went about it and - important - how the experience of doing some detailed historical research has given you motivation to continue to PG study.
I'm saying this as a non-history person as it applies to any discipline.
