Greenhead College or Heckmondwike Grammar School for sixth form?

I'm already a student at HGS but don't know whether to go to the HGS sixth form or Greenhead. There isn't a lot of information about which school really is better and I'm pretty confused about which one to go to.

If anyone goes to either of these schools for A-levels please can you share your whole experience with the advantages and disadvantages of going to the school. If anyone has any specific information about each school's Oxbridge scheme as well that'd be much appreciated.

Which school did you end up going to and do you regret it etc?

I go to HGS now and I don't regret it at all, I think I made the right choice

Do they support you a lot? I've heard external students get left to fall behind and aren't treated the same :/

I know many people at HGS who are external think that is the case. As an internal myself it's difficult to see it from their perspective, however, the same opportunities are afforded to everyone. I think the main difference may just be the fact that we already had the opportunity to make an impression in the school whereas they had to start from scratch. So, any differences may just be accentuated at the start of the year, but once you've fit in there's not any difference in treatment.
