My tesco application says interveiw when I have already done it? Plz help

Hello I have applied last week to tesco and I did the interview they told me I would get phone call the following Monday but it has been 1 week since. My dashboard also says itnervwiw even though I have done it .Have I been forgotten about .plz help em someone.

Company dashboards by and large are notoriously slow and buggy. My company dashboard says my application’s still in progress despite the fact I’ve been an employee for 8 months! Call the HR department to find out what’s going on.

When I call it tells me to press 1 if i have an enquiry about interveiw or job and when I click it, it says that I should look on Their website for FAQ but my question isn’t ther. I also emailed them they haven’t responded. Do you think I should go into the store.Tysm btw.

There really isn’t an option to speak to someone on the phone about it? If not then yeah, you could go into the store and ask, but I would only do this as a last resort.

Hard to know, it’s not uncommon for a lot of places to take longer to reply than they claim. But if you can contact them over the phone that would be the best thing to do, surely they must have someone you can speak to without being redirected to FAQs.

Best i can suggest to you okay is -

Only thing you can do is either contact them on the available number you have got for them ( if any) or Pop in to the Tesco store that you applied for the job at and ask if you can speak to either the immediate store manager or the deputy manager and discuss the matter with them.

The website should be saying that you had your interview and is under review......

Sometimes they take longer than usual to get back to people about things due to the possibility of having interview lots more than required for the particular position you applied for and maybe waiting until they have completed them all first. If the job you applied for has been closed ( there would have been a closing date on the necessary job advert prior to the actual date then the job has achieved the necessary amount of applicants and then therefore would start the interview process).

There's nothing stopping you still applying for other job positions until you hear from them.

Tesco team leader and stand in supervisor as required.

It’s around 2 weeks now so have you heard from them or have your online status changed or still say “interview”?

I’m in the same situation, had interview last Tuesday and was told to hear back, that is if I got the job by Friday and I heard nothing so I took it that I was unsuccessful but my online status still says Interview.

There is a little glimmer of hope that they haven’t made a decision yet or the person who’s suppose to change the online status forgot. 🤷🏻*♀️

If I don’t hear from them this week then I know for certain that I haven’t got it or if my online status changes so I know the outcome, whatever comes first.

Sorry to hear that.

Think I’ll be getting the same bad result by the looks of it.

Oh well we will just have to keep on trying to apply for more jobs and hopefully get one soon. 🤞

Hi, I applied for a role at my local Tesco around 2 weeks ago now. I was informed I would receive a call (no stated date) if I was successful in my interview.
I’m writing here today as my tracker still says “interview” with the ability to still book an interview…
I also would like to know if Tesco inform me if I am unsuccessful in my application. Upon searching around online, I can only really find information regarding “office jobs” and their processes… help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
