the exams are hard, i think i would say.

each exam has a different format, some are pure wrote learning eg tax some you need to understand causes and consequences which takes time eg F9 financial management.

the main difficulty comes from having a huge sylabuss so there is alot to learn to cover everything and time pressure in the exam its 3 hours with 15 mins reading time but that 3 hours flies by.

and all this is coupled with working full time eg 9-6 and if you work for a big co its usually a policy of you fail your fired

and last but not least you have the lowest pass rates out of all the accountancy quals

ACCA have an accelerated MBA programme i believe
