No I mean. What is Space made of? Not atoms. The distance between the Sun, and Earth is a vacuum. So what are the atoms or space in. What is the actual structure of the Universe. What contains the atoms? Like take a painting with nothing on it. And now atoms, i.e paint is drawn on it. But what is actual canvas made of? What are we actually on? What is the vacuum actually made of? What are the atoms on?

Well it's obviously not a vacuum as there are planets in between.
And planets are made of atoms

That is not what I mean.
Space is a vacuum. Between the planets, space is a vacuum. So I mean, the very structure of the universe that the atoms, planets, vacuum, asteroids, comets are on. Do you understand what I mean? I mean the vacuum of space, plus planets, stars, suns, comets, What are they all on. If the vacuum of space, the planets, atoms, comets, asteroids, moons, gases are the paint. What is canvas made of? Do you understand what I mean?

They are just on nothing?

They are just on nothing?

But how can they be on nothing? The nothing must be something? There must be a basic structure that they are on. As I said there must be a canvas we are all painted on.

Ooohh interesting... I never thought of butterscotch jelly
I will be designing a space craft in my garden later to go hunt out this jelly.
I'll bring some back for you if you want

I expect you to win the Nobel Prize for jelly, if you manage that.

That was not the NASA mainframe. It was a jelly factory.

Particles, dark matter, dark energy.
And aliens. It's always the aliens.

Space isn't black either. Space has no colour. The black you are seeing just means the light coming from that direction is too faint for our eyes to make anything out of it but black (the lack of any light). Turning off the light in your bedroom doesn't turn it purple. It turns it pitch black.
