AQA A Level French Paper 1 7652/1 - 12th June 2023 [Exam Chat]

They said they adjust the grade boundaries to compensate but there’s no way of knowing. The grade boundaries are ridiculously high due to the Native speakers.

If they're not a native speaker but can speak French then I don't see the issue the problem is people like myself doing the exam (actual native speakers) in my opinion.

Ah/uh I didn't mention having native speakers doing different speaking exams to non-native speakers 🙃😅. Nah my reading and writing sucks.

My bad I was referring to what someone said earlier about there being 2 separate qualifications. I don’t blame you tho. I’d do the exact same if I could but i shall just struggle instead 🤣

Did anyone else have issues with weird sounds on the recording and bits cutting out and the files had weird names about German?
I didn’t like the questions overall - translation was decent but hated the Q about the criminal on the boat

I thought I missed a page when I realised I hadn't done a Gapfill yet. Overall okay paper. I found the translations quite difficult though

i thought the paper was neither bad nor good but some of those questions were horrible 😭😭 i liked the translations somewhat but overall that may have been the worst i’ve performed on a french paper. hoping grade boundaries are lenient cos all i need is a B lmao
