I earn £800 a month.
I must save £300 a month for uni (Sept 2006, but must raise all for 1st year)
My rent is £100
My driving lessons are £200
My contact leses are £15
My phone bill is £30
My holiday is £300, still to pay (by May)
I need £500 spending money for the above (in July)

I have no money to socialise and spend on myself. I'm becoming bored and miserable. I need money, things to do and ideas from you --> :tsr:

Dont learn to drive just yet, get a special student railcard, and only phone at off-peak times cos that'll save you money too.

you could not have a phone or any friends then you wouldnt relise you were missing out....
or alternativly you be like me and work.......and then not spent any of it...im 16 and i already have 300 in my pension scheme :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
alternatively again you could just throw a house party, or get your friends to invite you out...........

where aer you going on holiday? when i've been away (admittedly only for one week) i only spent £150...

Ahh bless you, you sweet pea. I am gonna print this off tho! I need £6000 saved for uni and I have got about 20 months. I've applied for bar work at the local. Can't hold off driving lessons or would forget anything I'd ever learnt, thus, all previous money bit wasted! Holiday is holiday and I had the BEST two weeks last year and this year will be even better. My prob is I'm too stubborn!!! But thanks for help everyone!



Hey, sorry, didn't realise that you had until 2006.....
Hope my budget thing was of some help anyway- perhaps you should do it for yourself up to next september?? It can really help to plan everything out with regards to money!!
