My hand was aching
in a grade 9 students and had a lot of detailed point but these was no time
there was no chile Nepal case study not typhoon haiya n case study except for 1-4 marks
no Somerset levels flood
no formation of tropical storm
the only question I really enjoyed was the plate margins
The questions threw me off and I didn t talk about the Malaysia case study or lyme Regis or Banbury

i found it really good, apart from the 9+3 marker which threw me off a little because i was expecting that to be a case study question, but i think i managed to get 60+ marks

This is the plate boundary one, right?

yeah i only used case studies for the ecosystems 6 and 9 marker, and just namedroped river tees and lyme regis in rivers and coasts

Which ecosystems 9 marker... I don't remember it and kinda freaking out I missed a page >.<

I literally did no revision and i think i got a solid 9. AQA have been blessing recently

What did you guys get for the last question (6 marker) on the paper where it asked for issues for altering River Thames or something?

I put down it will increase flood risk later downstream and animal habitats will be ruined

I talked abt haiyan and Lyme Regis . But this questions were like 5/10 imo I didn’t know what a bar or an estuary was . I agree w u though I’m a grade 9 student and had time to only check through once and it wasn’t thorough . The timings were annoying bc I feel like I didn’t write enough or add enough detail either .

No it’s bc grade boundaries are gonna be ridiculously high theyre gonna go back to 2019 boundaries

Yeah that was a tricky question I had 2 minutes left when I got onto it and was confused so put down some guesses.

Btw, do you remember what you got the the median deaths by the tropical storm? I got 8000 something not sure if that's right

I added the 7th and 8th value and divided it by 2 since there was an even number of cases (14) I just got the mean to get the 7.5th number if that makes sense

i think i got like 8800 ish too idk if im right tho

also did we actually need to reference any like earthquake/volcano events for that one 9 marker???

What was the question but alos yes bc it said use ur own understanding
