AQA GCSE Geography Paper 1 (8035/1) - 22nd May 2023 [Exam Chat]

You know to be honest it was really easy but i'm kinda annoyed about the question where it told us to describe the tectonic plate because we couldn't even fit a cast study to get the top marks

Nah. Kinda disappointed tho cuz I was ready to talk about the 33 million coconut trees dying in typhoon haiyan

Yeah that was a tricky question I had 2 minutes left when I got onto it and was confused so put down some guesses.

Btw, do you remember what you got the the median deaths by the tropical storm? I got 8000 something not sure if that's right

Well they say that you should include a case study because it will elevate your answer but if you didn't you might be capped below at 6 marks out of 9

yeah i only used case studies for the ecosystems 6 and 9 marker, and just namedroped river tees and lyme regis in rivers and coasts

wait even if it doesn't say use an example or case study

What was the producer and consumer relationship in a ecosystem answer? I waffled about Epping Forest but don't know if that's right

which questions did you NEED case studies for (apart from the desert one) to get full marks??? also i was writing off the lines on almost all the questions instead of asking for extra paper like i was writing in the white space below but i didnt go outside the box does that matter becasue everyone was asking for extra paper... it will still scan and be marker right?
