Has anyone made a complaint about their CTC check wait and been successful in getting it processed?

I submitted my forms weeks ago, and just got emailed today saying it is being “processed”. I wonder if that means they have just started processing or it got started after I submitted?

Also given the timescale, do you guys think getting a temp job would be possible or might that throw off the checks and such as that wouldn’t be included in info about me?

Mine went from “in progress” to “completed” today. It’s been 2 weeks and 1 day since submission. I think progressed is probably the step before completed?

I think it’s okay to get a temp job but just inform them via email in case they need to change/update your application, [email protected]

well my status just said completed but that means it is completed for the vetting department and now all the proof goes to your end hirer to make final decision , please let me know when you get your certificate , this is my 7th week waiting

Bear in mind, I could just be one of those unlucky people that it takes ages to get my clearance!

For my CTC, it took 15 days (completed last Friday). Received my pdf certificate via email on Tuesday.

I called the NSV and they told me I already hold one since last year that's the reason why the new application was taking longer. They ended up saying I don't need a new one because one application is valid for 3 years after waiting for 13 weeks.So I requested for the old one so that I can give to my new employer and they emailed saying I can't have a copy but I should inform my new employer to request on my behalf.

I’ve just passed interview and have started preplacemnet check have to do CTC check and enhanced access check also. I’ve put on my disclosure form that my estranged uncle served time in prison from 1998-2004 I was under 6 years old at this time. Will the stop me passing the CTC?
