They have mentioned
You have reached the required standard, but we are unable to offer you a job immediately.

We have placed you on a reserve list from which future appointments may be made.

Hi, I got the exact same e-mail about being on the reserve list and scored 15.

Yeah we wait to see if anyone who has a provisional offer drops out. Then they work down the reserve list by score to offer the role to the candidates with highest scores on the reserve list. With each decline, the next candidate down the list gets offered the role etc.

If they don't have any vacancy, we don't get an offer I suppose. It's not a situation we want to be in tbh but it is what it is. If you have a job, stay there. Or if you don't have a job, keep looking and be surprised IF you get a provisional offer later down the line!

Got an email Monday stating I'd been given a provisional offer. I scored 22 and this is for Croydon.

Hey, congratulations!!! 👏🏼👏🏼 They gave you a time frame to accept the offer, or it goes straight to the checks they would do?

I could accept, decline or get in contact to discuss the role. Those were the 3 options available for me. I believe it was 7 or 10 working days to accept the offer and a further 7-10 to fill out the PEC stuff online after accepting
I got redirected to fill in the usual PEC info and upload my documents

I got provisional offer for AO apprenticeship. Waiting for pre employment checks . I cant see my interview score but they asked me to select 2 locations . Will i get a choice out of 2 locations ?

Hi Jamil,

congratulations for your achievement. You can check your score logging into your account at civil services website, then you select the job and you will see the link “feedback” on the top, there you will find your feedback through the application progress.

It says 23 what does it means ? Out of ?

That is the thing, no one know it and we don’t know which score was the highest and lowest to get a provisional offer. Have you applied for Croydon?

Do we have to do more interview after provisonal offer ?

Surely not. The provisional offer is the way for them to say that you have to pass the checks to have the job. It’s more secure for them if you don’t pass the checks to say that you hadn’t the job because it was provisional depending on the checks. I hope I have been clear on my explanation.

Does anyone know what this role consists of? What type of work and what the apprenticeship is like?

Reply 59

Anyone started this role yet?
