That would be pretty sound tbf. I would love a really broad question which u can basically link to anything or something where u compare which factors are most important e.g. to what extent is magnitude the most important factor in determining hazard impacts or smth

Yeah I thought a question like that might come up too I made a whole list if you might find that useful:
1) ‘Tectonic hazards that occur at convergent plate margins are usually associated with greater impacts than those at divergent plate margins.’ To what extent do you agree?
2) ‘Monitoring and prediction and more effective responses to tectonic hazards that mitigation.’ Discuss.
3) ‘Of all the hazards resulting from earthquake processes, liquefaction presents the greatest risk.’ To what extent do you agree?
4) ‘Of all the hazards resulting from volcanic processes, pyroclastic flows presents the greatest risk.’ To what extent do you agree?
5) To what extent is magnitude the most important factor in the level of impact of volcanic hazards?
6) ‘The economic impacts of volcanic activity are always greater than the social impacts’. Discuss.
7) ‘Urban populations are more at risk from tectonic hazards than rural populations.’ Discuss.
8) ‘The impacts of seismic activity are greatest at the local scale’. Discuss.
9) ‘Volcanic activity results in only global hazards’. Discuss.

Idk other ways in which 3.1.5 might come up as a question though.

Well plagioclimax communities are an ecosystem which has been repeatedly disturbed or altered by humans such humans preventing succession in that ecosystem. So an example of one can be heathlands where its formation is dependent on human activity eg deforestation, overgrazing, fire usage.

I think it is definitely going to come up so something like: 'Evaluate the roles of human factors in maintaining plagioclimax communities'.

No idea how I am feeling, but yeah an essay on demography would be likely such as 'Evaluate the role of demography and culture in China as it emerges as a global superpower'
