I got an EOI for a EO level and sent back the form and CV last week. Slightly gutted I didn't do well enough for HEO (only scored 8.98) as I left my last role in the DWP at EO level so if something is available and I get it it would feel like I'm slightly going backwards but it does feel like it's easier to climb in the Civil Service than form outside it. Does anyone have a rough timeline about when they are likely to come back with role suggestions form the EOI forms? I'm so desperate to leave my current job as it's just not challenging enough so would love to move back to the civil service and climb from within.

Did anyone else get an email about the Yorkshire Development Scheme today? I've not an offer, just asking if I'd be potentially interested and they'll be an information session held around 12th July

They said that it's an additional opportunity and if you don't reply then they'll add you back into the DAS pool for matching
I scored a 10, so I think I’m in between HEO and EO. Anyone still on the same boat waiting to hear if they get a interest form for either HEO/EO?

Very nice…what scheme was it for?
I scored 9.64 and had an email today saying I'm eligible for DAS at HEO level (I'd totally forgotten about it lol). So I'd assume you'd also be HEO level.

Yes, received an email yesterday for HEO! I’m going to be studying a masters starting in September for Public policy, do you think I should include this in my CV or will it put them off my application due to not being ‘focused’ on working?

No idea, wish there was some explanation. I suspect the Yorkshire Development Scheme might fall into that category, based on posts above.

It depends on the department. If you look at Civil Service Jobs that will give you a rough idea.

I sent my EOI form in a week ago, so haven’t heard anything yet.

Same no response for EO sent mine the same time! I’m sure it said by September normally but knowing the civil service that’s the earliest possibility 😂
