Yes got the Economics interview call from Trinity
Could someone explain how the pooling system work? If the college you apply for doesn’t offer you an interview, is that the end of the line?

See Cambridge's guide to the Winter Pool here. If you're not invited to interview, then it's the end of the line I'm afraid. :frown:

I haven't heard anything from MEdwards yet either, saw two people have interviews for history on the spreadsheet. Do you have an admissions test to sit if you're selected for interview?

We had to sit the engaa in October, results come out next week on the 29th so honestly I'm not expecting anything (except a rejection) before then. What course are you applying for?
does anyone know how the english assesment works? do we write it up on word and then upload it?

That does not sound correct about your friend, as I believe you can only get put in the winter pool if you have had an interview, and only your home college (the one you applied directly to or were allocated to having done an open application), will interview you.

Honestly idk , you're probably right. Were both international and at least my uni advisor has not been much help. I've tried looking but most info is hard to find about the specifics of the pool system.
Did anyone receive an interview for med yet for Cambridge ?

i am a natsci applicant and i was thinking this too, but surely they're not gonna give less than a week's notice? my interview period is 4th-15th december, but if they were to email on the 29th there could be 4/5 days of preparation depending on the time of the email, which seems kind of crazy?
hoping that not hearing yet is good news tbh

you can only be pooled if you get interviewed in the first place ☹️ if trinity said no to an interview that’s unfortunately just a rejection afaik

Accidentally posted anonymously! I've applied for geography, excited and nervous for the interview however would be nice to know a definite date. The window for Girton submitted work that I was told ends on the 30th of November so maybe will hear after that?

someone i know has an invitation to interview for english, which is completely different to CS but it's the same college! at least they're processing applications ig
