Fingers crossed I'll be joining you both soon!
I applied for the West Yorkshire intake. Had my interview weeks ago and still haven't heard anything.

Hopefully you'll hear soon. I'm no good at waiting, im so impatient! When was your interview? Has the rest of the process taken ages too?

Interview was over two weeks ago. It seems a long time to wait for a result. The whole thing has taken a while but not as long as some people seem to be reporting.

I've just checked back and from getting my sjt scores to being offered interview was 2.5 weeks so fingers crossed getting the interview results will be similar. Although like you say, stuff I've read shows every area is taking different amounts of time. Good luck!

Congratulations on the job offers everyone. I did my interview last night and it was a total mess. Nothing I'd prepared fitted, star went out the window, one question asked for an example amd I talked generally till 2 mins in then realised so added a quick example! I'm gutted.

Honestly I felt the same there was a question I was rambling on that I was trying to mould into relevance for the question didn't then with bit of time left I just said "and yeah that's that" I kind of laughed at myself during the end because I knew it wasn't going well but still got an offer.

You will get a score for your points in an email so I actually did much better than I thought but I got a 4 on that question which I think was just a pass. I'm not 100% sure.

Iv had a provisional offer and still waiting on the checks being completed I think I waited about 3 weeks since the video interview for an update.

Good luck!

Thanks, that's really helpful. Congratulations on your offer. At least if I know I've got an offer I can hand in my notice even if its provisional 🤞

I would advise not handing your notice in until you have a confirmed offer and start date. Anything could happen and the offer be withdrawn or checks might flag something up.

If you do hand it in (say 4 weeks notice) and it takes 4 weeks to do your checks you will then have to wait for a start date which might not be right away. I was told for mine I had to give at least 20 days before starting so they could set things up.
You don't want to be left out of work for any period of time.

Just my view on it and something to consider

Good luck in your new role, not long before start date now.

Just out of curiosity did u get an employee handbook when u got your contract?

Im just wondering what their policy is for families, such as flexi working and time off if your child's sickness.

I'm waiting for my checks to be complete, I assume they will call to discuss working pattern. I work full time at moment but I condense my hours over 4 days so I'm hoping that's still possible  I know training is full time so I can try arrange childcare for those days as it would be temporary.

Yesterday. I'm on the reserve list. My scores were all 4s, so obviously not quite high enough.

Well done, reserve list is good, you scored what you needed to pass. Fingers crossed that it changes to an offer soon.

Ah okay, I've heard some people who were unsuccessful have already heard back from the interview, if this helps.
