Y031 Arts and Languages Access Module Open University
Hi everyone, I'm new here and new to uni experiences too. I'm hoping to start Y031 in Feb '24, and just wondering if anyone who's been through it has something to say about the course? I'm mostly interested in the tutorial aspect -- are they delivered at set times like class periods? I'm assuming some would have to be pre-recorded but surely not all of them are? I'd hate to have to miss work just to catch a live tutorial in the middle of the day (unless its then added into a bank of tutorials for you to watch when needed?) Gah, it's sending me round in circles.

Hi, I'm a bit late in replying to this but I'm currently doing y031 and the tutorials are phone calls with your tutor for this module which you schedule with them directly. There are some 'events' to go to, such as TMA prep sessions but they do tell you when they are well in advance and they are recorded so you can go and watch them at a better time for you if you cant join as they are happening. I'm enjoying the course so far.
