Biomed at Aston university

Hello anyone who’s a biomed student or grad from Aston or even just knows, how common is it to get a 2:1 at the end of your degree?have many ppl gotten it? Do u need to get over 60% to get it?

2:1 should be the most common, like with other courses. Don't have a figure however, since I'm just a first yr. It's 60% or above but below 70 to get a 2:1 overall in the module I believe and then it's averaged:smile:.

NW, I had a look at biochemistry and it seems that could branch out quite far aswell, similar to biomed. They both seem like good progression options, so in the end, your choice and what you prefer. Hope that helps!
