Is Nursing still an exemption degree?

Hi,

I’ve seen quite a few threads on here outlining nursing as a degree you can obtain even if you already hold an unrelated undergrad qualification, because it is considered an ‘exemption’ course.

However I’ve not seen anything recently. Does anyone know if this is still the case and if you already hold an undergraduate degree you’ll be eligible for tuition fee and maintenance loans? I have a BA and the PGDL, and have a place to study Nursing starting this September.

Many thanks

Hi Jo,

Yes, nursing is one of our exceptions courses so long as you're not already registered in this field.

Thanks,
Claire
