Looking for HR/Recruitment advice.

Hello everyone.

I’m currently going through pre employment checks for a role within the home office.

I’m currently off sick from my current role and due back at the end of this month. This sickness is due to personal reasons and has nothing to do with any work issues.

I received a provisional offer from the home office and I’ve now had to disclose that I have a “live sick period”

Would this cause my application to be withdrawn? It’s potentially the only thing that would hold me back from passing the pre employment check.

Any advice from anyone who works in recruitment or HR would be great…
