On a serious note though, wouldn't the blame for letting those go idle be entirely with the citizenry of the UK? After all, the palaces are property of the state.. ergo the tax payer. It seems somewhat questionable to blast HRH for the populace refusing to enact change and allowing the conditions for homelessness in the first place.

I am pleased that he is. Obviously the government won’t like it but we need someone to do something. Building new homes seems to an issue for a lot of MPs and we need someone who can help. Hopefully he will do something
