Hey!! I'm a student from New York and I did Psychology Q3! Was this a popular question this year, and for those that did it, how was it?
Also, good luck to everyone!
Hey ! I did Psychology question 3 as well. I found there were so many ways to tackle it but I ended up arguing that beliefs follow a nuanced trajectory throughout our lives, in which power plays a major role. What about you?

Woah, that's really interesting! I actually did it kind of through a three pronged approach - I talked about our inherent tendency for involuntary belief from an evolutionary perspective and also through examples of our subconscious, then created a counterargument that kind of connected why people tend to full-heartedly believe they have control over their beliefs out of a desire for self-autonomy and purpose, and explained how that could still exist in a world where voluntary belief doesn't exist. If you'd be up for it, would you want to maybe exchange essays? I'd love to see how other people thought about this topic.

I put my citations in the footnotes, like (Rousseau, Social Contract 1785) but I've realised they don't allow footnotes. Do you think that counts as footnotes if I haven't actually added anything to the essay's content?

I think it’s fine as long as they are all grouped at the end. Which would make them endnotes. Otherwise, not sure about the specifics.
