Did anyone get into aston optom by clearing?
Does anyone want to buy their optometry equipment. I'm selling mine, it's the keeler student specialist set with a trial frame and 2 city rules. Message me if you do. Basically brand new, never used it.

Hi, this is a chat for those that have firmed Aston or have put it as insurance choice for Optometry Sept 2023 entry.
Talk about:
- prep for uni
- the course
- accommodation (if not living at home)
- looking forward to / not looking forward to

Also I need educating on the clearing process!!

P.S I have firmed Aston

Guys I’m hoping to apply for optom this year i did. my Alevels this year got AAA in psych/Soc and English. However I want to go into optom was thinking is it possible to learn content and be ready for the exam in 6 months. Like is it possible to get at least 2bs as some people from last year got in with such grades. I know I’m learning from scratch for bio and chemistry but would it be possible if I put my head down and try my best?

it can be possible but will be very hard. why not try alevel maths insead of chem? maths is a lot more practice based and would be good alongside a heavy content subject like bio. unless you feel youd be better at chem

Firstly thank you so much for not trying to initially discourage me, appreciate it. I did think about it however I got an 7 in gcse maths and an 8 in chemistry and the 8 came a lot easier to me. Furthermore I do believe I’d do better in chemistry as opposed to Maths. Does anyone have any tips on learning content ? I was thinking to use pmt, primrose. Thanks in advance
