Well in actual fact, if you take Saka, Saliba away then you basically have a top 4 side. They're still youngish but if we dont start winning things soon they'll be off somewhere. Saliba has RM written all over him
We took the fight to city for once at their ground and then Abu Dhabi Oliver had to get involved yet again. Blatant corruption, not sure why people are so inherent in suggesting there can't be corruption with the PGMOL when football is littered with corruption top to bottom.
Saw a stat with Oliver where he's given us 7 red cards (more than any team) vs Man City's 0. Don't know why some people would rush to defending these idiots, at minimum there's a massive conflict of interest with the City owners flying him out to officiate games in the Middle east.

That's true. If anything, the refs were on city's side. So many times, city should have been booked but they didn't.
I don't have a problem with using the dark arts. If anything, it is a good sign for Arsenal, but Haaland needs to calm down a bit. Roy Keane is right in calling him a League 2 player. Someone needs to put him in his place
Everyone has said we're too soft and need to lean into the dark arts for YEARS. City have a history of doing it in our fixtures in the past. When we use it on them they can't accept it. Bullies can give but can't take. Can't wait for this **** club to fall into mediocrity next year.

I would love to see Haaland be a man and play in League 2, where Keaney put him. That would make my season. City will then be finished as a club
I wonder if anyone will stay with city, like Buffon did with Juve. How much will city offer them in order to play in league 2? And the premier league will be so exciting once again. There will actually be a title fight for once

Agreed and I'm not a fan of you guys but city crying when they had fernandinho doing that **** for years.
Arsenal hard as nails and stacked. Shithouse, uber defensive football willing and able to deploy at any stage, Set pieces 1-0 wins. This is pure Arsenal. Love that Arteta forgot Wenger and just went full George Graham.
Embrace tradition, reject modernity.
We are going to shithouse our way to the title, and it's nothing but pure Arsenal.
Arsenal losing the Gap at the top of the table after losing today, Manchester city was surprise defeat and winners are Liverpool going clear again at the top of the league 😔 😔 😔

Sorry to tell you this, but Arsenal unfortunately will not win the league. When the season is over, you will think these words back. Don't get me wrong! I would like to see finally another winner than City and don't mind, if Arsenal did it at the end. I just don't think that it comes to reality.

Pure Arsenal is when the team does a bottlejob and botches the championship matchdays before the season is finished to congratulate City again. Different season, same result.
To be fair your fixtures have been super tough on paper so far. Man City, Spurs, Villa, Newcastle all away. Won 2/3 of those and drew with City. Just dropped points largely in games you shouldn't have. Dont think the seasons done for you get but next 3 games are crucial to get back on track

I don't think it's unusual for good (not great) sides where they can hype themselves up for big games and win but can't maintain that level of consistency in all the games. Man City have built that winning mentality and know there is a minimum level in all games whether they win by 5 goals or squeeze out a 2-0 but Pep mostly eridated risk and enforced control.
The problem that Arsenal have now is two-fold:
1) is league table pressure. Already 5 points behind Man City (who are favourites for the title) and 7 points behind Liverpool. Arsenal have already dropped half the points they did in 25% of the season compared to the entirety of last season. Every game now feels like must win (even more so before) and every time they drop any points - the media and pundits will go back to discussing if that is Arsenal out of the title race.
2) Having dropped points against Brighton, Newcastle and Bournemouth. Along with Leicester clawing back a 2-0 lead (even if Arsenal won it in injury time) and Southampton getting the first goal - no game has been routine for Arsenal except Wolves on the opening day. Now every team in the league thinks - "hey we can get at this Arsenal side" instead of thinking "well this is another loss, let's get it over with". To build that fear in opposition teams takes time and can be shattered quite quickly. Feels like it should be a small shift but it just makes every game harder in a long season and it becomes self-fulfilling.
The new thing for Arteta now is that he has always been able to show progress season on season. The next phase was always looking up. Coming into the season, it was about how Arsenal beat Man City to the league, looking at the last third of the season as to how to make the difference. Now instead, he may very quickly have to pick up a young side and motivate them to keep battling all season (maybe just to ensure they finish top 4) when they are looking less likely to challenge for the title. I saw it under Klopp with this Liverpool side. Flying for seasons but when one starts badly, it changes the entire atmosphere. Suddenly the adrealine isn't getting you through games, small knocks and injuries and other teams battling you feels harder and harder.

I'm sorry to say that I don't even support arsenal 😭 😭 😭.
Title race will be between Liverpool and Manchester city as I don't think arsenal has the capability of winning it as look at there previous seasons history in trying to win it ( caved in to Manchester city dispite being well clear of them until they let city win against them).... Arterta is a pep yes man reason why I think they won't win it anytime soon.
