There’s so much crap going round, even stories of the boy’s parents trying to blackmail the presenter and using the money to fund their own cocaine habits as well as their son’s. There are even photos on Twitter of a presenter naked below the wait down and you can see his arse. Could of course be faked and photoshopped but the bottom line is that no one knows what’s going on at this point, impossible to separate fact from fiction just yet.

True

You're presenting your assumptions as fact when we don't know these things.

I am sorry I didn’t mean for people to think this. My bad 😭 I will be more careful in the future how I word and express myself. But no I don’t know anything other than what everyone else knows about this case based on the news report

One thing for certain, social media isn't a force for good in this affair.

They haven’t identified the young persons gender yet and I read the metro paper it didn’t specify gender whatever.

Well you clearly didn’t read the article properly:

The presenter basically spent thousands on something similar to Only Fans.

No crime was committed, but it certainly casts doubt on their character. The person was likely lying about their age on the website.

It this a theory? Or is there any evidence that this is what was going on?
Does anyone else remember when The Sun paid a 16 year-old Sam fox for topless pics?

I don't think you were necessarily presenting it as fact.

I didn’t assume it’s a boy, like pretty much everyone I assumed it was a girl till I read the article and I definitely didn’t read it wrong, it 100% said the mother’s SON. She saw on her SON’s phone. There are lots of people saying the victim is a male and apparently Ed Balls also let that slip on GMB.

To be fair I assumed that it was a boy whole time (not sure why I did though).
Piers Morgan calls on accused presenter to 'name and defend himself'
Piers Morgan has called on the accused BBC presenter to "name and defend himself" to stop others from being "tarnished".

The Talk TV broadcaster said "everyone in UK media" knows who the presenter is, including those "working at the BBC".

"Other male presenters continue to be wrongly targeted/tarnished on social media as being the person involved," he said.

"It's an untenable situation. The presenter should name and defend himself."

MPs say that he shouldn't be named though.
BBC presenter faces new claim from second person.
Why does the BBC report on this subject as if they are not the BBC??

Anyone notice this????

It's actually quite amusing.

Because it's in the rules that they have to do so.

I can't be bothered to find it but there are lots of media people saying it's a male.

Yeah we don't know whether he's male or not though, it's simply what I personally assumed

there was a headline somewhere with mother referring to the person as his son, they keep showing the same thing on sky over and over agian
The BBC have also just released the annual salaries of all employees today

Is this a sick joke or just a coincidence?

Talk about bad timing.

I think everyone looked at it and took a guess who it is.

The presenter has now been accused of sending threatening messages to someone he met on a dating app who threatened to reveal who he was.

BBC News have seen the messages.
