ok. can you do normal postgrad in like imperial in medical imaging with a degree apprenticeship degree in radiography?

No, the hospital you apply through determines which educational institute they work with and what those institutes offer. Most offer a 3 year bsc apprenticeship, some will offer a shorted 2 year MSc course under apprenticeship for those with previous life science degree

Hello, just finished a levels. Not confident for results but if it goes well I've been looking at nhs degree apprentaships. anyone doing NHS degree apprenticeship? I've ibtervuew for diagnostic radiography. I will be on 20k a year and get free degree. It seems too good tbh. Anyone doing this at bangor uni or done this?

If you are lucky enough to be offered an apprenticeship degree in radiography accept it!!!! You will be paid and working on the job, and then released to go to university to study in blocks. This means no debt!! You get paid!! And you get the same degree. And the bonus part is you have a guaranteed job as you are already employed. So there’s no need to apply for jobs in final year. Plus you will have made good connections with staff from day one. You get treated as part of the radiography team. Good luck!

Correction, this is not the case at a lot of Trusts. Depending on the Trust, many apprentices will have to apply for a band 5 job at their trust once the degree and hcpc registration are completed. No guarantee of a job, and depending on the local jobs market, that may require applying further afield. One of the Trusts near me has 4 apprentices qualifying in the next year yet only two have been offered jobs as the department has no additional vacancies.

The Midlands all the way down to London have a surplus of plain film radiographers which is why most locum jobs are/have disappeared. The only locums I know still in work are in ct/mri and sonography roles as that is where shortages are greatest
