Nottingham accomodation Jubilee Campus

Hello!

I'll be joining the University of Nottingham in September and I was hoping to get some advice. I'm thinking about joining Deakins Place, which is next to Nottingham two. Any advice on if the place is good, whether the area is good, security etc.

Thanks!
Hi there, I think Deakins Place looks good, it’s new and modern, close to the Lidl supermarket, and is close to the Jubilee campus. I noticed that they’re out of their studios though, and btw I’m looking for a tenant to take over my contract of a studio at Madison Gardens. I think it’s as good as Deakins Place (or better because it’s newer) and also less expensive. If you are interested in it check this out: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7373657 and I wish you good luck finding your accommodation :wink2:

what is life like living on jubilee campus?

Hello,

Jubilee is about a 10-15 minute walk from the east entrance of University Park, and halfway between University Park and Lenton, which is where many students stay when they move out after first year, so it is lively. This is especially true during term time as there is a lot of activity during the day. Likewise, all the amenities that you may need are close, with a number of supermarkets nearby and plenty of links to other parts of the city.

I hope it helps,
Abian.
