Why are you only looking at Russell Group unis? What's your plan once you finish your degree?

Looking at uni rankings and Russell group had higher ranking mostly

How do employers look at uni graduates from higher ranking unis to lower ranking unis

should i drop out of uni and pursue an apprenticeship?
people at my uni are so unserious...
my friends call my uni **** all the time as well
I have been self studying, doing personal projects and leetcode..
and self studying curriculums of other much more rigorous unis..
Will my unserious cohort hold me back?
like i made no friends at uni.., societies are very limited, we literally had no cs society, this uni doesnt offer low income people bursaries as well
most of the cohort is international as well making it harder to make friends.
the ta's and lectures are low quality as well

It sounds like you are really not having a good time where you are, so the weight is adding up on the argument for you to leave.

The question is where do you go / what do you do now? What's your endgame here?

I want to be a swe in a company(probably an enterprise- bank)..
Not sure if I want to transfer to loughborough clearing and do their IT course for first year...
i feel that I may want to go to loughborough as they may have better societies, more driven people etc

Btw, if I attend an RG uni then I could potentially get 4000 pounds in extra funding and 1200 extra pounds from loughborough as well..

Loughborough isn’t a RG university

nvm I was looking at information business management degree..
was planning to transfer to ucls one.. for 1st yr
just done first yr of uni
